Real music helps us to get away from the world of humankind and into the real world of the entire universe itself. It is time for true brothers to depart on this NEW path, the music path, the path of peace, the path less traveled by, and leave the futility of the warriors far behind us ...
then there is time to pause and bring out this music so the sounds might sooth any listeners. Sometimes the music is for special memories of good places or hard ones that make us strong bringing unexpected happiness there. Sometimes the music is for itself and that is enough for us as well ...

The birds find food for free, you know? The birds do not get paid. The flowers grow for free as well so beautiful and brave. But man has sold his freedom to a system company store. Someday, naked, he'll starve to death when there ain't any more...
It is a universe of star breath. A breathing, living thing. Something nice to be a part of. Approach it's mystery with music and dance. Stepping out of the minuscule, we then discover other existences beyond this universe we are to people.
Original by me, Paul Hall of paulhallart & Hi Paulhallart, playing Native American Flute: "Star Breath". Photos by me in Alaskan Rain Forest and photos from Hubble Space Telescope.
Salmon Star Running from deep ocean returning, they leave bodies behind, swimming among the stars. Celestial organics. Original, "Peacefulness Talking" by me playing Native American flute. Remember, the first priority is to talk with the universe, the next is for healing, then maybe we think of entertainment, which really means "to consider ideas". This is a proverb. The settlers find the warrior's path, but only poets find the path less traveled by.
We look into the past to see the nebula photographed using Hubble but it is already peopled, one could assume, by those of a distant future who, using teleconesis, are already there, having traveled thousands of light years instantly. It might also be assumed these running salmon accomplish the same even now automatically, leaving bodies in the stream heads, they swim onward into the stars. Do they show us the way to be the star runners? It's in the music.
infliction of mental damage in order to incur a profit for the bottom line and to please "the street" ....
They've got the wrong brains to stereotype all potential customers. They are rich enough to employ science to prostitute themselves with misconceptions of the customers as mere objects to be manipulated for the sake of commerce and enrichment of the businesses. Any form of psychological manipulation causes damage to the victim. It's a form a rape.
Just because the average person does not have the auspices to investigate what's going on, this gives the businesses no license to do what they choose, certainly not to continue on that bent of aberration of wanton devotion to wealth and profit.
The most important aspect of the people, their innovation and potential for production of intellectual endeavors and production of national wealth is being destroyed because the ogres back in the fifties were permitted to call them "consumers". For this, they should have been levied stiff fines on the grounds of intent to inflict bodily harm and targeting the citizenry by means of conspiratorial terminology.
Well, how does it feel to be not quite yourself; to only have a fraction of your mind remaining intact? Perhaps you didn't notice. But there are no watchdogs protecting you and you aren't strong enough to protect yourself from the actual and potential damage of neuroscience being channeled by the unscrupulous who only want you as a bolster to their bottom line.
We will all be stuck with the preferences of the lamebrains foolish enough to go for testing. We shall all be crammed into the common category of the psychological makeup of those dumb enough to pick up the odd few bucks for being their guinea pigs.

Two things that move fast, sand below and sky above. Between the rocks seem not to move. But you know they do. Sand, Rock and Sky. Original melody and performed on Native American flute by Paul Hall. Photograph by Jen Hall.
The electron is the intelligence. And nobody even knows what they are. Intelligent energy. That's what smart is. In you; beyond you. Energy thinks. And it's smarter than you. But then, you must think with energy, too. Also my drawings of my photos of the covered bridges of New Hampshire. Max opacity ink on acetate, 1988. "Think, think, and more think". How come many of you don't enjoy thinking? It's fun. Most ideas don't come to you immediately, they involve cogitation. I thought about gravity for 43 years before I came up with the principal of applied antigravitation (use of antigravity for transport, a device the size of a grapefruit could lift a cruise ship to the asteroid belt).
It's a song I wrote in Australasia, the words were written in Australia and the music composed in New Zealand.
The visual is a project that took about a year on and off (1987-88): a series of drawings of almost all the covered bridges of New Hampshire. I'm missing about three. They keep putting in new ones, which they allow as long as you use oxen to put it in place. Of course, there would be a bunch of other hoops you'd have to jump through first, so put your resort where there was once a bridge and then build it and they will come.
But this was A series of illustrations I did from my original photography on location. First I drove all over the state in a broken-down Subaru and did the photos of the bridges, so I'd have my own material to work with. Then I did the illustrations on acetate using a maximum opacity pen. Sakura.
--- The words to the song: ---
Energy thinks. And is smarter than you. But then, you must think with energy, too. If you've got a crisis and things have gone wrong, it's maybe you're weak when you thought you were strong.
----------------------
Energy thinks and it teaches the fact. They say the truth hurts but don't ever look back. In the world of the take, there's also the give: Though you've come to existence, you must choose to live.
-------------------------
So feed with the energy feed. It's done with the heart, and not with the mouth. Lifetimes of mystery. Don't ever doubt. The surface, deceptive, is all round about.

92 video playlist of Early Bob Dylan songs covered by Paul Hall of paulhallart, phadylancoverbypaul and Hi Paulhallart ...
My covers of 53 early Bob Dylan songs (which I recorded in a trailer in Skagway, Alaska in 2011 and uploaded to my other channel, paulhallart) play from the back-up wave C.D.'s in the car stereo as we drive from Eastern Florida on the way to San Diego, California -- all the way across the USA in our Chevrolet, listening to 53 early Bob Dylan songs.
We finished the entire collection of 53 Dylan covers by the time we got to somewhere like Arizona, so we started over and by the time we go to the beach in California, we were half way through again ...
A whole day of early Bob Dylan songs: 18 hours, which still leaves you 6 hours for sleeping. Cover by me, Paul A. L. Hall. Over 4 months of production in 2011 in a couple of trailers in the Mountain View trailer park in Skagway, Alaska, next to the railroad track. Sometimes you can hear those teams of diesel locomotives humming in the background of the recordings as they went past. An eagle and a raven used to perch in a tall pine tree outside perhaps to listen to the music.
"Yes, folks! It's Whoopie Newsreel, brought to you by Uranium two-thirty-five." Survive nuclear winter: camp on mountains above cloud-line...
Based on my underground newspaper, "The Signs of the Inevitable", both the newsreel and the newspaper were done in Auckland, New Zealand in 1985. At the time, I was street singing in downtown Auckland as well.
The digital art series done in California in 2003 was based on a quick sketch I did of a movie photographer and his eight-millimeter movie camera from the sixties when I had my studio in New York City.
All empires are built on slavery. like this one now, built on sweat-shops and non-living wages. Civil War? resource grab; emancipation? politics. u know the drill. That's why I play it like that. u can feel the loss. the reversal of fortune.
"Gone with the Wind" by Max Steiner, series 01 of covers: harmonica solo and guitar-harmonica combo. This is one of my favorites in my repertoire. It comes from one of the greatest classics of all time the Gone-with-the-Wind motion picture. One of the things that established that was the music; almost half of the film was the music.
-
Based on a novel about the US pre and post Civil War South, dealing with the topic of reversal of fortune. As all empires, built on slavery, like the one we have now on sweat-shops and non-living wages. What goes around comes around. Sherman razing civilian infrastructure of Georgia to the ground; the people who had prospered by running out the Cherokee earlier in the 19th century in the days of Jackson, history repeating itself in upheaval and catharsis. The music epitomizes that. You can feel it. It's "deserved" because of the attitude but then, those who do the adaptations, like the character Rhett Butler in the story, can make it through it all. So Max was doing a little Beethoven on us and we got a helping of the Viennese genius in this melody. Before we forget it, it's a classic.
-
The theme of the epic movie with illustrious performances by Vivian Leigh and Clark Gable. Remember? If you haven't seen the movie, you ought to.
Gable's acting, in particular, was apropos. His "Rhett Butler" described to a tee the late 19th century persona of the adaptive American male much as Clarke's depiction of the cowboy in Skagway, Alaska, the last town of the wild west, in another film. I loved his interpretation of his character's encounter with Jefferson (Soapy) Smith, the mayor, in which he trades his herd of cattle for equipment and a chance to get out of town (out of Skagway; "Murder City").
-
A whole new concept in music. Steiner was Viennese, an Austrian berg noted for its a bevy of top notch composers. To hear the whole thing, you have to watch the movie, which is also an audio- visual symphony of two-and-one- half hours of music in a practically 4-hour film. The real sequel is about to happen when the Lincolnesque Obama rescues the still languishing South from the Carpet-Baggers and the Scalawags.
Influence of the gray, balanced tones of shelter, those, they there were sworn. Where malcontent, in hours spent; ideals of conflict there were born.
Words of the first verse:
A song I wrote which poetically examines the essence of the sociological phenomena that is prevalent in the unmotivated masses in the security of their mass-produced culture-less domicilia. Basically, it's a country-wide riot waiting to happen. Nothing left upstairs in the frontal lobe. Picture the mindless (almost everybody) taking their pistols out on the street (or using one they find lying around among the dead) and treating their pack of slugs like a cheap video game.
The visual is a photo shoot I did in the San Diego Gas Lamp District back in '04. I then used a series of filters and techniques to come up with this digitization I call "San Diego Nights, Number One".
A Trojan Horse of Representatives becomes a Trajan Hearse drawn in by a gullible electorate. Intentional or not, The U.S. House of the Legislative Branch, is become the way a wealthy minority can gain control of the Nation and subsequently, the World using the easiest method: brain-washing the people with billions of dollars of untrue attack adds at election times ...
Now, government by the people has become government by the wealthy, and perhaps always had been. Americans, and the world itself, through the House of Representatives "Trojan Horse" has become a dominant government run by an elite whose power derives from wealth.
Cover of this Dylan classic by me, one of my favorites, I used to hear it covered by Judy Collins in one of her albums I had back in the '60's. I do this cover with my classical guitar and Blues Band harmonica with vocals and solos.
lyrics:
Time passes slowly up here in the mountains
We sit beside bridges and walk beside fountains
Catch the wild fishes that float through the stream
Time passes slowly when you're lost in a dream
Once I had a sweetheart, she was fine and good-lookin'
We sat in her kitchen while her mama was cookin'
Stared out the window to the stars high above
Time passes slowly when you're searchin' for love
Ain't no reason to go in a wagon to town
Ain't no reason to go to the fair
Ain't no reason to go up, ain't no reason to go down
Ain't no reason to go anywhere
Time passes slowly up here in the daylight
We stare straight ahead and try so hard to stay right
Like the red rose of summer that blooms in the day
Bob is protesting the ultimate problem: men and women in harm's way who refuse to evacuate until too late, a greater problem than war or crime or robbery with a fountain pen. This makes the mamma in Down in the Flood a worse culprit than Zangzinger who killed Hattie Carroll with his cane.
lyrics:
Crash on the levee, mama
Water's gonna overflow
Swamp's gonna rise
No boat's gonna row
Now, you can train on down
To Williams Point
You can bust your feet
You can rock this joint
But oh mama, ain't you gonna miss your best friend now?
You're gonna have to find yourself
Another best friend, somehow
Now, don't you try an' move me
You're just gonna lose
There's a crash on the levee
And, mama, you've been refused
Well, it's sugar for sugar
And salt for salt
If you go down in the flood
It's gonna be your own fault
Oh mama, ain't you gonna miss your best friend now?
You're gonna have to find yourself
Another best friend, somehow
Well, that high tide's risin'
Mama, don't you let me down
Pack up your suitcase
Mama, don't you make a sound
Now, it's king for king
Queen for queen
It's gonna be the meanest flood
That anybody's seen
Oh mama, ain't you gonna miss your best friend now?
"L'Amour Est Bleu" Andre Popp and Pierre Cour, 1967. (Harmonica par Paul).
A collaboration between two Frenchmen, the musician Andre Popp and the lyricist Pierre Cour back in the sixties. They still had music back then before the subsequently destabilized younger generation started to mutate. Like higher education, the wrong kind of music can cause irreparable brain damage.
This is my rendition on my little old Blues Band harmonica, in the key of C. I could always hear these songs because I could play them on the harmonica from time to time. It's good for you to play an instrument. It increases your cranial capacity.
To decode from the French: "L'Amour Sur Terre et aux Fondure Illuminee par la puissance du Bleu". Depth of water, penetrated by blue; Storms of life intervene in the wind. Blue is arguably the most powerful of colors, the only color to be able to penetrate deep water or survive the pounding of sunlight in an old color photo or printed picture.
Depicted by my 2002 photo shoots of roses growing in my semi-wild garden by my former mobile home (the only home I ever -- so far -- owned, which I needed, to care for my ailing mother in her last years). The roses grow strong and life goes on. Meme sil est gris, c'est agris-able. On arive com meme, je m'en fou. If things seem gray, think of it as silver.
This is a tough damned little old world down here on the bottom floor, kid, so you better get used to it. Love has a lot of enemies, but it always wins, with or without you, depending on your perseverance.
Those French guys come up with some really beautiful music, because, you know, they can't help it. Enough said about that since there's no free lunch unless you happen to be one of the few who understands that everything comes from nothing. Love's enemies put the price tag on it.
