The clearing weather begins to reveal the intense beauty of the imposing seeming endless lines of mountains here on the sea passage of southern Alaska protected by the outer islands from the rough seas. Soon the whales will arrive on this Inland Passage Marine Highway to bubble-fish the immense shoals of herring and other small aquatic life...
